!–paging_filter–pIt’s always a thrill to stumble upon a new local designer who sets my Spidey sense off and a href=”http://officialthisislu.tumblr.com/” target=”_blank”Lu. by Jenny Fort/a has done it. Her Line No. 1 collection, currently looking for funding on a href=”http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/836616992/lu-line-no-1” target=”_blank”Kickstarter/a is a two of my favorite things: chic and unique. Silhouettes are nontraditional, unless drop crotch MC Hammer pants are your standard, and will fit a range of personal styles and body shapes. Fabrics range from soft wool to easy wear Ponte knit and each garment is lovingly made in Seattle./p
pI’m particularly taken by the maxi-dress because I like pieces that speak for themselves and are quick to throw on in the morning and still look and feel like I’ve put a ton of thought into my outfit./p
pFort is hosting a trunk show on November 7, details a href=”https://twitter.com/thisislu/status/389979164951838720/photo/1/large?utm…” target=”_blank”here/a. I’m super eager to check this line out in person./p
