Holiday Gift Guide, Day 9: Primped and Pampered

We could all use a bit of R & R right about now as we all scramble to finish off those last minutes gifts and baked goodies for co-workers, am I right? Thus I am not going to sit here and pontificate: Boys, your ladies will love these sweet beauty items and pampering memberships. Ladies, your girlfriends will, too. Now, zen out.

$20

Julep Nail Salons’ ‘Julep Maven’ membership

With four locations ranging from Bellevue to Gig Harbor, Jane Park’s sweet mani/pedi boutiques are easy and convenient as it is, but this year she brought the salon to her devoted groupies with the Julep Maven membership. Members receive a package of new polish colors and other products straight to their doors every month; sign her up starting at just $20.

$35

Lulu Beauty solid perfumes (pictured above)

We already love everything on Olivine, but when owner Julie Wray started selling her own Lulu Beauty line of perfumes, we fell even harder. Wray’s sophisticated solid perfumes are perfect for throwing in purses, especially the subtle and sophsticated “She Belongs There” scent, a mix of gardenias, exotic pikaki and jasmine with notes of smoky vanilla.

$90

Sweet Petula’s ‘Soap of the Month’ club

Here’s another club you’ll want to belong to: Cory Smith’s Sweet Petula soaps are made with natural ingredients including essential oils and ground botanicals for a light, refreshingly-scented sudsy gift. (My tip: The olive oil-based soaps have extra special moisturizing powers.) Get a new soap delivered every month with their darling Soap of the Month club, which arrive in pretty packages to brighten the day.

$450

West Seattle shops' ‘Style Package’

Haven’t a clue what to get that special gal? A new coat? Some kickin' shoes? Anyone?  Bueller? Bueller? Here’s the way to get all that shopping done in one fell swoop (without the crushing headache): The Lindas behind West Seattle's Clementine, and Carmilia’s, plus Style Cents will dress and shod her in style with their holiday style package, which includes $150 gift card to Clementine, $150 at Carmilia’s and $150 worth of style advice and personal shopping with Style Cents.
