With designer Luly Yang’s couture show just eight weeks away (tickets are now on sale for the April 27 event), we continue our behind the scenes journey with Yang’s smallest fittings. And by smallest, we don’t mean the task at hand: As the show’s beneficiary, Seattle Children’s Hospital plays a huge role in event, and every year, the audience falls for the special children who make an appearance on stage in custom-made Luly Yang outfits.

For the April show, Yang will design outfits for 5 patients who have overcome severe medical hardships. This last week, in addition to a creative team meeting about the show music, the children visited the downtown boutique to talk with the designer about their dream dress or outfit. Naturally, gratuitous kid shots follow:

Stay tuned as we continue to follow the progress of the couture show, and be sure to join us on April 27.
