MUST TASTE
Taste Washington
If you’ve always wished there was more tasting in the annual Taste Washington wine event, your dreams have come true. This year’s Grand Tasting has expanded from one to two days, which means plenty of time to sip through samples from more than 200 Washington wineries. Pace yourself!
3/31–4/1. Times and prices vary. CenturyLink Field Event Center, 800 Occidental Ave. S; tastewashington.org

MUST WATCH
Torso
Local playwright Keri Healey’s gripping new play, Torso, is only open for a few more days, so get tickets to Theater Off Jackson quick. A dark turn for the usually hilarious Healey, the play explores grief, jealousy and the moment when moody thoughts turn into murderous actions. Seattle superstars Stephen Hando and Sarah Rudinoff star.
3/9-3/31, 8 p.m. $15-$18. Theatre Off Jackson, 409 7th Ave. S; 206-340-1049; theatreoffjackson.org

MUST LAUGH
Edible Book Festival
The Edible Book Festival celebrates literature by transforming book titles into homemade foods via funny (and groan-inducing) puns. (Think “Tart of Darkness,” “Don Quichote” and “Ethan Fromage.”) All are displayed science-fair style at Wallingford’s Good Shepherd Center until the winners are announced—after which everything is free for the eating.
3/31. Noon. Spectators, $10; participants, free. The Good Shepherd Center, 4649 Sunnyside Ave. N; frybooks.com
