!–paging_filter–pBecause there’s no such thing as too many doughnuts, stronga href=”http://www.toppotdoughnuts.com/” target=”_blank”Top Pot/a/strongnbsp;(which recenly celebrated its 12th anniversary Feb. 8) is opening another store. This one, however, is a little different for a couple of reasons./p
pFirst, it’s moving into the second level of stronga href=”http://www.thepostseattle.com/” target=”_blank”The Post/a/strong in front of the pedestrian overpassnbsp;between 1st Ave. and the ferry terminal above Post Alley (888 Western Ave). Like the other 15 cafes, this one will carry all 38 varieties of doughnuts, coffee, ice cream, pastries and sandwiches. However, Top Pot co-founder Mark Klebeck tells me that strongthis new shop will also feature a pour over coffee bar/strong. “Single-origin offerings that will rotate as we procure different varieties as they come in. We have a siphon bar at the South Lake Union café but otherwise this will be the first!”/p
pA man that never seems to pull out of high-gear, Klebeck isn’t done opening Top Pot stores. He says he is hoping to add at least two more stores (local-ish) this year.nbsp;/p
p”We are always considering locations within Seattle, but also within the Puget Sound region. strongThe South Puget Sound region and West Seattle are areas where we will eventually have a presence sooner or later/strong.”br /br /Look for this new Top spot to open in Spring 2014, around the same time the company plans to open a href=”http://sidedish.dmagazine.com/2014/02/11/top-pot-doughnuts-to-open-in-da…” target=”_blank”its first non-Washington outpost/a in Dallas.nbsp;/p
