Art Up Phinneywood
Friday (8/12) – Phinneywood is shutting Greenwood/Phinney Avenue from N 67th Street to N 87th to cars for its neighborhood arts walk featuring work from local artists, live music, a farmers’ market and food ($5 happy hour menu all evening at Carmelita’s). Never again must you make the agonizing decision of whether to down a cold beer or scarf a scoop of ice cream. Sunday (8/14) – Head to the Hill for a street fair putting a foodie spin on the usual neighborhood celebration. Local restaurants will be serving up $5 and under bites (from Café Presse, Osteria La Spiga, Caffe Vita, Barrio, Zobel Ethiopian Restaurant, High 5 Pie, Caffe Pettirosso, Bluebird Microcreamery, Poquitos, Ambassel Ethiopian Restaurant) along 12th Avenue which will be closed to vehicles between E.
