ANTIQUES
American
BOGART, BREMMER & BRADLEY ANTIQUES (8000 15th Ave. NW, Seattle; 206.783.7333) features a large assortment of 19th- and 20th-century pieces, including Victorian, Arts and Crafts and Art Deco, and an impressive collection of pre-1940 lighting fixtures and vintage Maxfield Parrish art prints.

 

TIMELESS ELEGANCE (22 103rd Ave. NE, Bellevue; 425.454.6227) features traditional estate furnishings from the late 1800s to the early 1900s, with an emphasis on mahogany and cherry pieces, and handsome prints, silver and accessories.

 

MANDRAKE’S (2401 NW Market S, Seattle; 206.784.1808) and MANDRAKE’S II (212 E Main St., Walla Walla; 509.529.1790) specializes in American furniture, primarily from the 1830s through the 1940s. The store also offers complete restoration and upholstery services.
 

Asian
CHIDORI ANTIQUES (108 S Jackson St., Seattle; 206.343.7736) offers a broad range of antique Asian artifacts, and an assortment of ethnographic arts from more than 65 cultures.

 

CRANE GALLERY, INC. (104 W Roy St., Seattle; 206.298.9425) features Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Tibetan and Vietnamese antiques and artworks.

Eclectic antiques + inspired reproductions
A family-run staple for more than 30 years, ANTIQUE LIQUIDATORS (503 Westlake Ave. N, Seattle; 206.623.2740) stocks a huge assortment of European, East Indian and Indonesian furniture, from handsome English wardrobes to Balinese beds.
 

After more than two decades as a retail fashionista, in 2006, Carol Rochon opened GATHERINGS (1515 Third St., Marysville; 360.659.9729). “I wanted to present beautiful antiques with a modern flair—exciting, elegant displays that build visual stories,” explains Rochon. The devotee of Hollywood-Regency glamour, mixes her diverse selection of antiques, including French, Belgian and English pieces, with modern accessories, such as Barbara Cosgrove lamps and animal-print stools from Zodax. Complete design services, including custom-made furniture, upholstery and faux-painting, are available. Fragrant find: Beautifully packaged and wonderfully aromatic candles by D.L. & Co.

PAISLEY CUPBOARD (141 Park Lane, Kirkland; 425.828.2648) carries vintage and reproduction furnishings, accessories and gifts in an eclectic mix of styles to suit any size of manor house.

 

SISTERS ANTIQUES (655 NW Gilman Blvd., Issaquah; 425.392.7373) is enchantingly packed with unusual antiques, silverware and decorative accessories.

 

SWEDISH HEIRLOOMS (2911 E Madison St., Seattle; 206.621.1002) offers formal and country antiques, reproduction furnishings and lighting and linens.
European
 

Husband-and-wife owners fill ANTIKA (8421 Greenwood Ave. N, Seattle; 206.789.6393) with antique treasures snapped up during regular buying trips to estate sales in Europe, including a wide selection of vintage Deco.
 

At DAVID WEATHERFORD (133 14th Ave. E, Seattle; 206.329.6533) French and English furnishings from the 18th and 19th centuries mix beautifully with Asian, Art Deco and Beidermeier.
 

HENRY’S ANTIQUES (211 14th Ave. E, Seattle; 206.626.0500), you’ll discover 18th- and 19th-century European furniture, paintings, clocks, chandeliers and vintage religious items.
