Cheap Eats and Drinks with City Stimulus Deal

You can have a great time drinking and eating this weekend with the City Stimulus deal. Described as “a 4-day small business pub crawl”, you just need to download the free membership card and then you have four days to enjoy deals and sales in over 40 local shops, bars and restaurants. The sales run from Thursday to Sunday and include establishments like Poppy, Moe Bar, and The Saint. Some places will have happy hour all night, discounts on food or drinks, and other offers. Personally, I will be heading to Belltown Bistro on Thursday for half-off bottles of wine. More information can be found at the City Stimulus website.

It's too bad everyone in the Capitol neighborhood wasn't asked to participate in this promotion. Several independent businesses ( Izillas toys LA spiga and Cafe Stellina) to name a few were never contacted. It seems liike anopther popularity conest rathern that a way to help all of the independent businesses.
