Bastyr University is hosting four days of free public activities April 26-29 as part of the fifth annual National HerbDay celebration. HerbDay, celebrated across the country at universities, botanical gardens and parks is highlighted by a series of independently produced educational events designed to raise public awareness about the significance of herbs in our daily lives. Herbs can be used safely and creatively for health, beauty care and culinary enjoyment.
Some of Bastyr's HerbDay offerings include talks focusing on common herbs we can use--and even grow in the backyard--to improve our health, attitude and mental acuity. For the full schedule of talks by luminaries including Eric Yarnell, Sheila Kingsbury, Jenny Perez, Jenn Dazey and Crystal Stelzer, check out Bastyr's HerbDay press release.
