Looking to do something different with Mom this Mothers Day? Seattle Parks naturalists are leading a Mothers Day Walk through Carkeek Park. Check out spring wildflowers and learn about one of Seattle's largest urban watersheds.
The walk starts at 1:30 pm at the McAbee Entrance of the park (6th Ave. NW & NW 100th Pl.), Don't fret: tea and treats will be available mid-walk in Carkeek's orchard. The walk is free, but pre-registration is required; email Bill.Malatinsky@seattle.gov for more info.
