Italian films made during the 1950s and ’60s are still looked to as the epitome of sensual cinema. Featuring movies by masters such as Roberto Rossellini and Federico Fellini, and starring world-renowned actors such as Sophia Loren and Marcello Mastroianni, Viva Italia celebrates that fact, exploring the Italian cinematic take on human dualities. This month, the lineup includes the midcentury gems Rocco and His Brothers (2/7), Marriage, Italian Style (2/14), Mafioso (2/21) and Mamma Roma (2/28).
