Seattle’s Kraken Congee is going to be making their television debut this summer on CNBC’s Restaurant Kickstarter. During a press event, host Tim Love was asked, “What has been the coolest restaurant idea you’ve seen so far?” and he replied, “There’s these guys with a congee concept…I tasted the food and quite frankly, it changed my whole opinion of them in five minutes.” Days later, the actual promo for the show appeared on Facebook, confirming he was referring to Kraken Congee. Their episode airs in July.
