In addition to a larger space, Lark will be joined by two other restaurants Sundstrom is opening:strongBitter/Raw/strongnbsp;andnbsp;strongSlab Sandwich + Pie/strong. Once the new Lark opens, the old Lark will close down and reopen as an event space in early 2015./p

From 7 a.m. to noon, come on over and enjoy what’s being billed as the emRoyale Grand Slam Special/em that includes (get your EpiPen ready): two cupcake batter pancakes, topping bar that includes buttercream and ice cream, and a tall espresso drink for $5. However, staring next Tuesday, the Fremont restaurant is launching Power Hour (Happy Hour) Mon-Fri, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., when dinner starts. pstrongGreen Lake/strongbrOn Monday, June 2,nbsp;2014,nbsp;stronga href=”http://www.bethscafe.com/” target=”_blank”Beth’s Café/a/strongnbsp;will kick-off a weeklong 60supth/supnbsp;Anniversary celebration featuring dirt-cheap 50s priced food, quirky contests and mid-century revelry. The venerable greasy spoon will be donating a portion of the day’s profits to Treehouse, a local nonprofit caring for foster children. On Saturday, June 7, Beth’s will throw a 50s-themed party to celebrate its birthday, where guests encouraged to show up in their best 50s getup. The party starts at 8:30 p.m. and there will be prizes for the best-dressed./p
pstrongProsserbr/strongJackie Cross, the wife ofnbsp;a href=”http://tomdouglas.com/” target=”_blank”Tom Douglas/anbsp;and his Farmer-in-Chief, is hosting three summer dinners at the couple’s 20-acre farm in Prosser. Along with farm manager Dev Patel, Cross will offer up a six-course dinner inspired by the season’s produce. Dinner will begin at 5 p.m. with appetizers and bubbly outside, followed by a tour of the farm, wines, and “a few surprises.” The actual dinner will take place inside a beautiful farm house. The dinners take place on three Saturdays throughout the year: June 21, August 30 and October 25. Cost is $165 and each dinner is capped at 16 guests.
