Revamp Report: Dot’s Delicatessen Reopens Tonight as Dot’s Charcuterie Bistrot

!–paging_filter–pBack in January, Allison Scheff a href=”http://\/\/seattlemag.com/big-changes-store-dots-and-change-me-well” target=”_blank”broke news/a that Dot’s Delicatessen would be closing its Fremont doors to make way for a revamp that would ultimately see it transform from corner deli to strongDot’s Charcuterie Bistrot/strong. And tonight, ladies and genteleman, is the night of a href=”https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=742240149120978set=a.39514565383…” target=”_blank”the grand reveal/a.nbsp;/p
pThis new version no longer serves burgers or sandwiches at dinner–that’s for lunch. Instead, classics grace the menu, things like coq au vin, blanquette de porc, cassoulet, steak frites, duck confit, brandade, steamed clams and cote de boeuf./p
pDinner is served Wednesday-Saturday from 5 to 10 p.m., and lunch Wednesday-Sunday from 11 am to 3 pm, with Sunday evenings designated for private parties./p

pGeneral Manager Anna Wallace (stronga href=”http://www.seattleseltzer.com/” target=”_blank”Seattle Seltzer Co./a/strong proprietress and former bar manager of stronga href=”http://thewalrusbar.com/” target=”_blank”The Walrus the Carpenter/a/strong) tells me that the remodel and service tweaks have been a “positive enhancement” to the space and overall dining experience “while Dot’s still feels like the lovely neighborhood joint it’s always been.”/p
