Last we spoke with Seattle entrepreneur Bill Predmore, he was discussing his love of Pop and street art (if you liked the documentary Exit Through the Gift Shop, his personal art collection would have you drooling).

These days he’s gearing up for the first season of Seattle Reign, the first professional women’s soccer team in Seattle, which he owns. The team features star players Hope Solo and Megan Rapinoe and takes its name from the former Seattle women’s basketball team.

The Seattle Times “[Predmore] loves the Sounders, ‘But they have a hard time attracting the world’s best talent,’ [he says].”

Predmore continues: “We think we will have the most professional team in the world…As awesome as it is to watch the Sounders, you can’t say that they are playing at the same level as the European teams.”

Bold words. Looking forward to seeing the Seattle Reign back them up.

Pre-season starts mid-March; all games at Starfire Stadium in Tukwila. Season tickets are available.
