MUST HEAR
KEXP Concerts at the Mural
Park your picnic blanket on the Seattle Center lawn for live and locally made tunes at this popular Friday-night concert series. This week’s lineup is “No Depression Night,” boasting the soulful sounds of Fly Moon Royalty (which we named Seattle’s best new hip-hop band of 2011), Sallie Ford & The Sound Outside and more rocking good fun.
Fridays, 8/3-8/24, 5:30pm. Free Admission. Mural Amphitheatre, 305 Harrison St., 206.684.7200; seattlecenter.com

MUST GO OUTSIDE
Seafair
Opens Friday (8/3-8/5) — It’s Seattle’s biggest summertime celebration, featuring supersonic plane fly-bys, hydroplane races and pirates! Buy a ticket and wander the fairgrounds along Lake Washington Boulevard, or marvel at the Blue Angels overhead for free by claiming a prime viewing spot early at Mercer Island’s Park on the Lid…or by walking outside pretty much anywhere and looking up when when you hear the roar.
8/3-8/5, 8:30am-6:00pm. Lake Washington Blvd near Genesee Park. Full schedule and map at seafair.com.

MUST TASTE
Analog Coffee’s “Cold Brew”
Capitol Hill coffee shop Analog has seen increasing demand for their cold-brewed iced coffee. So they did what every American would do: install a kegerator. Now you can enjoy a cup of their specialty cold brew, or purchase a 32oz. refillable growler. That should keep you awake for at least one hot summer’s night. Take note: there’s only so much Cold Brew within a day. Follow @AnalogCoffee on Twitter for updates. Hat tip to Capitol Hill Seattle Blog
Capitol Hill, 235 Summit Ave.

MUST SHOP
Belltown’s Hidden Boutique
Shopping editor Kate Calamusa has discovered secret stores of vintage Prada, Jimmy Choo and Vivienne Westwood in Belltown. Tucked into an inconspicuous suite off First Avenue, Natalia Biner’s new Sell Your Sole Consignment Boutique boasts impressively well-named garments and shoes, often sporting original tags.
Open Mon.-Sat., 11am-6pm. Belltown, 2121 First Ave., Suite 101; 206.443.2616; sellyoursoleconsignment.com

MUST SEE
Bollywood Movies Al Fresco
Friday (8/3) — Catch the final installment of Seattle Asian Art Museum’s free outdoor film series, featuring popular Bollywood movies on the big screen at the Volunteer Park Amphitheater. Get in the mood with Bollywood music (dancing encouraged!) at sunset (around 8:45 p.m.), then settle in for Jai Ho high jinks at 9:30 p.m. This week, watch Dehli Belly, a contemporary Indian comedy (subtitled in English) that sounds like a distant cousin to David Gordon Green’s Pineapple Express.
8/3, 8:45pm. Free admission. Volunteer Park Amphitheatre (in case of rain: Stimson Auditorium in Seattle Asian Art Museum). seattleartmuseum.org
