Ludlow Market: Road trip! Saturday, September 29 is going to be sunny and mild – the perfect day to catch the Bainbridge ferry and head to the Ludlow Market at the Seabold Community Hall for some fine vintage shopping. Ludlow Market will feature a curated collection (read: no junk) of antique and vintage home furnishings from over 10 stellar local merchants, including, but not limited to organizer Rick Rochon’s moody and masculine Ludlow Home collection; The Weekender, a small shop in Manette, Washington (Bremerton) owned by mother/daughter team Nancy Belanger (formerly of Lucca Great Finds) and Jodi Davis; and the fabulous Seabold Vintage Market. Ludlow Market hours are from 2 to 6 p.m.  Head over early and make a day of it.

Sell Your Sole’s Men’s Designer Consignment Pop-Up: Belltown’s excellent women’s consignment shop, Sell Your Sole, is hosting Shirt Off Your Back, a three-day only men’s sale this weekend, Friday, September 28 through Sunday, September 30 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Enticements for the well-dressed man include a jacket from Ralph Lauren, Nudie jeans, an Ermenegildo Zegna alpaca sweater, Dries Van Noten boots, Costume National blazer, Jean Paul Gaultier chain wallet, all at a fraction of their original retail prices. Items are in impeccable, gently worn condition, as is everything that proprietress Natalia Biner sells in what she calls her speakeasy shop – the entrance down a hallway, nestled behind Cherry Street Coffee on First Avenue. Happily, there’s no secret password required to enter this hidden gem.

Merge in Fremont: Merge owner Patricia Wolfkill reports that all remaining sale items are an additional 30 percent off as of…now. Go get ‘em.

FYI: Hitchcock in Madrona will be closed through October 2 for their annual concept installation. Can’t wait to see what the insanely talented duo, Erica and Dustin, have cooked up this time.
