Update: Seattle Coffee Gear to Open Bellevue Location

The Saeco Syntia SS Compact Espresso Machine at Seattle Coffee Gear

Seattle Coffee Gear, the local retailer of espresso machines and all things coffee, is opening its second retail store in downtown Bellevue at 10692 NE 8th Street. This 2,000-square-foot venue will house everything from milk frothers to tampers to commercial-grade espresso machines from the likes of DeLonghi, Rocket Espresso and Saeco. With coffee prices steadily rising (ahem, Starbucks), Seattle Coffee Gear’s expansive choices of coffee makers and espresso machines might just help your pocketbook, without sacrificing taste.

Join the caffeinated haven as it hosts its grand opening on Saturday, September 14 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.  What’s in it for you?  The first 50 customers will snag sweet gifts, and all grand-opening guests will get the chance to sample lattes, coffees and teas and participate in prize drawings. Similar to its Lynnwood location (6911 216th SW, St. A), the SCG crew at its new Eastside spot will gladly assist you in finding the accessories or machines that best fit your personal needs. They will even demonstrate any of their products on display to compare taste and functionality, a perk not often found in other retail stores.

Can’t make the grand opening? Sign up here for updates on workshops, classes, and events that cover a variety of home brewing skills to maximizing the benefits of your particular coffee or espresso machine.

Swing by Bellevue’s Seattle Coffee Gear—next to What the Pho and across from Symetra—to welcome this new retail store to the neighborhood.
