Come October 14, we’ll be making a mad dash to Roche Bobois, the super luxe French furniture haven on Western Avenue, for the annual MissoniHome sale. MissoniHome is the deluxe and oh so divine decor offshoot that Rosita Missoni–co-founder of the eponymous Italian fashion house–launched in 2004. “I realized I had a knack for interior design when I was a child. My favorite game was to create a house or living room in the heath forest of my village, Golasecca,” Ms. Missoni told the Wall Street Journal in a 2011 interview.

Her piece of advice: “If you’re going to invest in one big piece for the home, it should be an extremely comfortable, well-designed couch; a huge mirror; or a funny-shaped, colorful rug to light up a forgotten corner.”
