What could be more meaningful than a personalized gift that gives the receiver a piece of Seattle’s history? The Pike Place Market Foundation is raising the roof, literally, by transforming a surface parking lot into an extension of the market we’ve all come to know and love. To help raise funds for the transformation they’re offering supporters a piece of Seattle in the form of individualized Market Charms

The Market Charm, made of galvanized steel, is personalized with a die-cut message of your choice, and will be suspended from the outer railing of the new MarketFront, with views overlooking the Olympic Mountains and the Puget Sound. Proceeds from the charms ($180 each) will support completing and sustaining the new MarketFront and other Pike Place Market Foundation endeavors, including programs that provide a senior center, food bank, preschool and medical clinic to the people of Seattle.

Many Seattle couples have made market memories, much like Kevin and Vanessa (above), who even incorporated this bustling corner of the city into their wedding day. To mark the occasion, they purchased a MarketCharm, forever connecting their family history with that of the market. Whether you’re a guest gifting to the happy couple, or you’re the bride and groom searching for the perfect present for your significant other, Market Charms make unique and unforgettable wedding gifts for the true Seattlite(s) in your life.
