November 23 & 24
EtsyRain Handmade Holidays
Avoid those Black Friday throngs and shop in a more civilized manner at Marion Oliver McCaw Hall, as the annual EtsyRain show moves in for a two-day stay. Featuring precisely 105 local Etsy vendors spread over two levels (read: lots of elbow room), gift inspiration will abound, including waterproof shower art from Ugly Baby and illustrated wearables from La Ru. Free admission. Friday 11 a.m.–6 p.m., Saturday 11 a.m.–5 p.m. Marion Oliver McCaw Hall, 321 Mercer St.; etsyrain.com

December 1 & 2
Urban Craft Uprising
Indie darlings, meet your shopping dreamland: The biannual Urban Craft Uprising. At the city’s largest indie craft show, more than 140 vendors will be on hand with cool clothing and jewelry lines, paper goods, toys, kids’ wear and more. The cast includes Seamless in Seattle winner Christine Chaney; new vendor, French Girl Organics; and PDX jewelry stars Betsy & Iya. Free admission. 11 a.m.–5 p.m. Seattle Center Exhibition Hall, 305 Harrison St.; urbancraftuprising.com
