MamaCon 2017
(4/29) This "mama conference" for moms only includes a dinner (not cooked by you, Mom) and drinks, life and parenting strategies, self-care tips, shopping and more, all within a nurturing community that stresses mothers are not on their journey alone. Keynote speakers include Rebecca Gallagher of Frugalista Blog ("When SPANX Goes Wrong and Other Mama Lessons") and CEO and founder of Dry Soda Co. (and single mother of four) Sharelle Klaus on the subject of "How to Make Peace with Motherhood." Other sessions include roundtables with experts on everything from how to limit your child's screen time without meltdowns to tips to keep your "relationship sparkling when it's covered in life-dust." 3-10 p.m., prices vary.

This self-guided tour offers an inside look at eight private homes designed by AW Architecture|Interior Design, Coates Design Architects, Lane Williams Architects, atelierjones llc, Best Practice Architecture & Design, babienko ARCHITECTS, Barcelo Homes and Dwell Development. Speak with architects and homeowners about industry trends, design concepts, building materials and more. Don't forget your ideabook, or at least, your Pinterest password. 11 a.m.-5 p.m., prices vary.

Must Give
The Match for Africa 4 Seattle
(4/29) This fourth charity tennis event for the Roger Federer Foundation, the tennis star's organization whose goal is to enhance "a world where children living in poverty are able to take control of their future and actively shape it," will take place this Saturday at KeyArena. Facing off against Federer in the singles match is Association of Tennis Professional's 10-time title winner, John Isner. In the doubles match, Federer and none other than Bill Gates will go head-to-head with Isner and his TBD celebrity partner. Hot tennis stars, one tech guru and some good-spirited competition all for charity? You can cross off your good deed for the week and have fun doing it. 5:30 p.m., prices vary.

Must See
Divine Ammunition: The Sculpture of Al Farrow
(Through May 7) BAM displays the work of celebrated California sculptor Al Farrow, who makes provocative sculptures—cathedrals, synagogues, mosques, mausoleums and other devotional objects—using guns and ammunition, exploring themes of religion, violence and the past and present history of conflict. Times and prices vary.
