The Henry presents the first major exposition of artist Doris Totten Chase (1923–2008), known for her large kinetic public sculptures. This retrospective will include sculptures, paintings, drawings and videos that Chase created between 1956 and 2000, and gives a glimpse inside the video art Chase began working on in the early 1970s, her experiments with computer imaging in collaboration with the Boeing Company, and her focus on feminist issues and self-sufficiency.
