Our city is undergoing tremendous challenges, many of them related to growing pains, even as the city—and country—continues to grapple with ongoing issues of race, inclusion, gender equity, gun violence, immigration and environmental concerns. In our annual Most Influential People story in our November issue this year, we want to celebrate the people who are making a positive difference in helping the city as it is challenged by problems caused by our tremendous growth, along with these other more universal issues. We’re looking for nominees who are behind some of the year’s biggest headlines. Specifically those who:

  • Have a positive vision for the city
  • Are actively working to find solutions
  • Stand up for their core beliefs
  • Work toward unity

The Most Influential People of the Year can be politicians, community or business leaders, activists, artists, chefs, government officials, educators, developers, social workers, journalists, designers, sports figures, artists—you get the idea. Give someone the recognition they deserve and nominate them today!

You may nominate as many individuals as you believe are worthy of consideration. Your name and email will only be used for follow up questions we may have about your nomination. Need some inspiration? See who made our list last year here. Nominations are due by July 3.
