!–paging_filter–pThe loft dresser is the newest member of the CHADHAUS family of handmade furniture, joining a stool, a table, a bed and a lamp. The dresser, like other pieces from the Loft series, boasts clean lines (reminiscent of traditional Shaker furniture), recycled steel hardware and is locally crafted from sustainably harvested wood. “We love this piece,” says Emily Robertson, who designs alongside husband Chad in their Ballard-based studio. “A dresser provides a great vertical plane to showcase the beautiful wood we use, and we take particular care in composing the parts into the whole.” Amply sized with smoothly sliding drawers, the simple yet beautiful aesthetic of the dresser is durable in both function and fashion. $3,400–$3,600 depending on size.
