Curbed Ski released a big list of the best ski country dive bars, with a few in Washington State. Among the nearby favrorites? Mount Si Pub in North Bend, Wash., and The Snorting Elk Cellar in Enumclaw, Wash.
You love it! You really love it! Seattle’s inaugural bike share program launched on October 13 and in one week the service has provided 4,000 rides and acquired more than 1,400 memberships. The Seattle PI reports, “With the initial launch in Seattle’s densest neighborhoods underway, the focus now is to spread out.”
Any One Direction fans out there? (I thought so.) Well, the floppy-haired, British boy band is coming to CenturyLink Field on July 15. And presale tickets go on sale in ONE. DAY.
What’s going on at Second Avenue and Pine Street? A massive 40-story apartment tower, that’s what. According to MyNorthwest.com, “The building will feature approximately 3,500 square feet of street-level retail, and 217 parking stalls above and below ground.”
We’ve set a record, but not one that we’re super excited to set. Heavy rain and high winds have pummeled areas of Western Washington at all-time high levels. Yesterday, Sea-Tac Airport recorded 1.16 inches of rain by the evening, which broke the 1985 record of 0.87. Mild and dry winter, eh?
